Registration update for TrebEUShet 2013

Hey everyone. Are you excited for one of the greatest events happening this year? We sure are! As such its important to register for the competition as soon as you can since space is limited. If you have already registered, we ask that you please register again. There was a bug on our website that is now solved, but it didn’t record your registration info.

We’ll also be in the courtyard this Friday in the afternoon with the “Trebicolor” Event! You’ll have a chance to paint a Trebuchet, with a small donation to a charity, and munch on some delicious BBQ. See you all there!

TrebEUShet Competition has arrived

Here Ye Here Ye!! Compete in a one day event on March 30, 2013 to see which team can build the most skillful Trebuchet. Teams of 4 will design, build and test their Trebuchets in a mock arena. The teams will be given lumber and various hardware. They will be assessed for accuracy, distance, height and design quality. We will be accepting 15-20 teams, open to both UBCO and OC students to register! Registration is only $60. Please go to “Registration” under TrebEUShet 2013 to register! |

Career Fair on Campus!

As you may have heard, the Career Fair will be this Thursday (February 7th) in EME from 9:30am-2:30pm. This is a great opportunity for students to network with employers and explore future career opportunities they may not have considered. There will be over 40 employers recruiting from a variety of majors!

WEC Competition

We are pleased to announce that the pre-qualifier for WEC 2013 (UBCOEC) was a success! A big thanks and congratulations to all who came out and competed or judged ( especially Taheri!!). This year UBCO will be sending a Junior and Senior Design, Communications, Debate and Consulting Team to WEC in January! Seen here is our WINNING Junior Design team that will be representing UBCO!
