Professional Activities Fund
The Professional Activities Fund (PAF) exists to help students within engineering participate in competitions, attend engineering conferences, and organize professional events. Along with tuition, $100 is paid towards the PAF each year. The fund is then split up, with a portion of the spending decided upon by the School of Engineering, and approximately 60% of it being divided out by a council comprised of both faculty and students within engineering.
The PAF Committee meets a minimum of three times a year to discuss applications that have been submitted by students. To apply for PAF funding, or for any further questions regarding PAF, send an email to president – at – ubcoengineers.com.
